Rybka 2.1 32-bit and 64-bit single-CPU download

Here is the link to download the single-CPU Rybka 2.1
http://chessok.com/rybka/d5574/download.html
However, I ask for two things:
1. That Rucsil does not download Rybka. Having gloated about copy protection (and stating that he would not share Hiarcs X50 even if he could)it would be hypocrital for him to do so.
2. Much more importantly I urge every user of this to search his/her conscience as to whether he/she can afford to buy it. If you can possibly afford it then please buy your own copy. I have purchased Rybka 2.1 (just as I purchased 1.2) because I am aware that Vasik Rajlich is in a precarious financial position and because I believe he deserves to be supported as much as possible (by money rather than words!) in developing Rybka.
I hope others will feel the same.
Dave

Hi Dave ,
I like to think , as much for users of this site as for Vas , that you have gained some customers for Rybka 2.1

I don't understand, why do they put the full version for download at their site... for free...

Dave received the link by email because he purchased the engine . What do you think d5574 is doing in the link ? Its there so that people can not get the link by hit and trial . Azaad

It seems clear that problems with the proposed serial number system caused the unforeseen delay reported by Convekta, and it was decided to proceed without the protection. However, I suspect that Convekta will try very hard to include protection for Rybka 2.2.

I am certain this will appear within a day or two because a user of this site purchased Rybka 2.0 beta and downloaded it here.

Dave , The guys who are capable of devising the activation scheme that was proposed earlier ( I refuse to believe that Vas, although he may have agreed to the scheme, would have anything to do with actually devising a Heath Robinson contraption like that ) are not going to be satisfied with things as they stand now . Please ignore posts like these azaad, it would be better to just delete these posts.

People should not ask the giver such questions, just be happy and grateful that Dave gave us the right link...

Thank you very much Dave...

Let us just continue to hope and pray that it doesn't...But if it does, then let us accept their decision, just like a true chess sportsman.

Battousai, to be fair to the poster I suspect that he simply did not understand how there could be a Ryba page from which one could download. Mere inexperience I suspect.

that post above about supporting vas inspired even me, and im very hard to swing in any direction, your point is very valid, we should support him with more than words, his engine is a great analysis tool and ive jumped on the bandwagon and will now be a loyal rybka customer especially after that freestyle tournament thing ill support vas instead of chessbase, who knows maybe he is supporting us, hes given us a great alternative to chessbase and their not so great analysis tool gui. only decent one would be cb9 and thats way overpriced, i guess chessbase will really have to try to give us better products now that they have a real competitor! :)
